Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is building the Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. This full-time onsite assignment centers on leading an underground and interconnection corridor, coordinating civil, electrical and telecom interfaces, and ensuring safety, quality and timely turnover.

The role reports to the ERP Project Manager and requires directly related underground utility leadership, German/EU work authorization, and the ability to follow approved plans and bilingual

About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Owns the 0.5-mile underground electrical and communications corridor, utility validation, sequencing, interfaces, and turnover.

What You Will Do

• Plan and execute utility investigation, permits, excavation, ductbank, cable/fiber, testing, survey, restoration, and tie-in work.

Minimum Qualifications

• Directly related underground, utility, civil, MV electrical, telecom, survey, or field-leadership experience.
• Required German/EU work authorization, trade/equipment qualifications, and competent-person coverage for the assigned activity.
• Ability to follow approved plans, AHAs, inspection/test requirements, and bilingual field direction.

Preferred Qualifications

German utility/road experience; USACE; VDE; excavation competent person; fiber/OTDR; survey credentials.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access

• Selection remains subject to contract qualifications, installation access, employer-of-record and data/system permissions.
• Germany-local employment, approved DOCPER/ECOPS accreditation, or other lawful long-term work authorization before onsite work.
• Employer/engagement source must match the approved ERP staffing plan, subcontract chain, independence rules and German employment/work-status requirements.
• No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.

Field, Travel and Employment Conditions

• Work arrangement: FULL-TIME ONSITE - remote work is incidental; minimum presence: Full-time during corridor and tie-in work.
• Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
• Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
• Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
