Jobbeschreibung

Your mission

• Develop and update the Maintenance SOPs, training materials, scheduled maintenance plan and related activities.
• Lead training sessions for internal team members and clients on UAS maintenance, safety protocols, and equipment handling.
• Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of training, in accordance with the Wingcopter AvS manuals and the applicable requirements to Wingcopter staff and customers.
• Maintain training records for all maintenance training events and related technicians.
• Set the standardization for all Wingcopter Maintenance activities in the Weiderstadt facility.
• Monitor EASA Part UAS and JARUS Part FCL including new and revised AMCs and GMs for changes.
• Support flight operations as assigned.
• Perform required maintenance and servicing of UAS systems.
• Collaborate with the Flight & Ground Test team to optimize Wingcopter systems.
• Take responsibility for the safety of all personnel and equipment, conducting safety briefings and ensuring operational safety standards.
• Manage risk assessments, identifying and mitigating potential hazards in operating areas.

Your profile

• FAA or EASA maintenance certification for manned aircraft
• Remote Pilot Certificate (A1/A3 + A2, Part 107, or equivalent)
• Valid driver’s license (up to 3.5 tonnes)
• Experience:
  • 4+ years in commercial UAS operations
  • 2+ years performing maintenance on UAS platforms and overseeing maintenance operations
  • 2+ years creating and maintaining maintenance records and scheduled maintenance plans
  • 2+ years in a managerial role
  • Proven expertise in Safety Risk Assessments, SORA processes, and regulatory procedures
• Technical & Operational Skills:
  • Advanced UAS troubleshooting and maintenance skills
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk assessments in UAS operations
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment up to 25 kg
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Additional language skills in German or Spanish preferred
  • Ability to engage effectively with customers, partners, and stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel globally as required
