Job summary

Samsung SDS Smart Logistics in Magdeburg is seeking a Commercial Employee in Transport Coordination/Dispatching to act as a point of contact for customers and logistics providers, organize goods transport, and monitor on-time deliveries.

The role requires a completed commercial training, experience in logistics, fluency in German and working knowledge of English. You will work with dispatch software and MS Office, supporting the transport management system daily.

• Completed commercial training or apprenticeship relevant to logistics.

• Proficient with dispatching software and MS Office Suite.

Tasks

Requirements

• Completed commercial training/apprenticeship, ideally as a forwarding and logistics services clerk (Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistungen), warehouse logistics specialist, or comparable; other commercial training backgrounds or relevant professional experience are also welcome
• Professional experience in the logistics services industry / freight forwarding desirable
• Experience with software-supported dispatching
• Strong organizational skillsVery good knowledge of spreadsheet programs [good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)]
• Fluent German and no reluctance to work in English
