Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Transport Coordinator (m/f/d) at our site in Hodenhagen to actively shape the energy future. You will monitor shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders and warehouse teams, and optimize transportation processes to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have vocational training in logistics and experience in logistics operations, with SAP Warehouse Management knowledge and strong German/English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor domestic and international shipments and keep transportation flows running smoothly
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations
• Oversee the supply chain and help ensure deliveries arrive on time
• Optimize transportation processes with a focus on cost efficiency, delivery performance, and quality
• Support balanced truck arrivals to improve warehouse efficiency and operational flow
• Review transport concerns, manage claims and complaints, and support timely resolutions to minimize interruptions

About The Department

Service Supply Chain and Repair is a unit covering all the service operations around the globe. We are responsible for supply to all the service sites, construction sites and after sales across all the regions. At Vestas, we focus on delivering top-tier supply chain and operations, which helps make our department a rewarding place to work. The Global Warehouse department in Denmark and Germany, is responsible to procure, store, pick pack and ship on time towards our service technicians. Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role

• You have completed vocational training in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs and have experience in transportation and logistics operations
• You bring solid knowledge of inventory management, logistics processes, and controlling; experience with SAP Warehouse Management is a plus
• You maintain a high degree of organization, can complete work without direct oversight, and have effective planning and prioritization abilities
• You approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset and a structured way of working
• You are proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with digital tools and systems
• You do well in team-based environments, contribute in a positive and supportive way, and enjoy combining efforts to meet shared objectives
• You show a consistent commitment to safety and approach every task with safety as your top priority
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
