Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Transport Coordinator (m/f/d) to play a key role in managing domestic and international shipments from our site in Hodenhagen, Germany. You will partner with freight forwarders, warehouse teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries and cost‑efficient processes.

The role requires vocational training in logistics or related field, SAP WM knowledge is a plus, and fluency in German and English.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs.
• Experience in transportation and logistics operations.
• Solid knowledge of inventory management and logistics processes; SAP Warehouse Management is a plus.
• Strong planning, prioritization and organizational skills; ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools; team-oriented and safety-focused.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.

About the department

Service Supply Chain and Repair is a unit covering all the service operations around the globe. We are responsible for supply to all the service sites, construction sites and after sales across all the regions. At Vestas, we focus on delivering top-tier supply chain and operations, which helps make our department a rewarding place to work.

The Global Warehouse department in Denmark and Germany, is responsible to procure, store, pick pack and ship on time towards our service technicians. Safety is our main driver; quality and delivery are our key measurables, making sure we meet the demands of our customers. We are searching for a Transport Coordinator, working in close relationship with our 3rd Party Warehouse Operator to ensure high level Spare Parts availability..

Your profile – what makes you well suited for this role

• You have completed vocational training in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs and have experience in transportation and logistics operations
• You bring solid knowledge of inventory management, logistics processes, and controlling; experience with SAP Warehouse Management is a plus
• You maintain a high degree of organization, can complete work without direct oversight, and have effective planning and prioritization abilities
• You approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset and a structured way of working
• You are proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with digital tools and systems
• You do well in team-based environments, contribute in a positive and supportive way, and enjoy combining efforts to meet shared objectives
• You show a consistent commitment to safety and approach every task with safety as your top priority
• Very goodGerman and English skills, both written and spoken, round off your profile
