Role Overview

Samsung SDS Smart Logistics (part of the Korean multinational Samsung Group) was founded in 2012 and is one of the fastest-growing logistics service providers in the world. As an innovative logistics service provider, we offer our customers optimized logistics solutions and consulting in the area of supply chain management (SCM) based on our in‑house platform Cello. Samsung SDS Smart Logistics operates in 40 countries worldwide and employs more than 4,500 logistics experts. We are currently looking for commercial employees (m/f/d) in transport coordination (dispatchers as coordinators) for our location in Magdeburg.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact person for customers and logistics service providers
• Organization and planning of goods transport
• Order processing including delivery planning
• Monitoring of deliveries and ensuring on‑time deliveries
• Communication with the warehouse and slot bookings for customers
• Coordination of logistics service providers and freight forwarders
• Optimization of transport efficiency and costs
• Preparation of key performance indicator reports for customers and management
• Updating and maintaining the transport management system
• Complaints and returns management

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, ideally as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk, warehouse logistics specialist, or similar; other commercial training occupations or relevant professional experience are also welcome
• Professional experience in the logistics services industry is desirable
• Experience in the field of software‑supported scheduling
• Organizational skills
• Very good knowledge of spreadsheet programs [good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)]
• Fluent German and English at least on B1 level
