Job summary

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a Senior Leader to helm the regional Transit Field Services, driving the execution of field service, warranty, and maintenance activities across multiple sites. You will set regional standards, KPIs, and budgets while ensuring strong customer relations and service excellence.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Resident Engineers, and Project Teams to improve product reliability and serviceability, while mentoring a diverse team of site managers and field

Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional Field Services organization within the region.
  • Deploy Transit Field Services strategy, processes, and tools.
  • Develop, track, and improve operational KPIs focused on quality, cost, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Resident Site Managers, Field Service Operations Managers, Warranty Managers, and Customer Service Managers.
  • Perform regular workforce planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Support Services Sales teams in developing and delivering service solutions.
  • Strengthen customer relationships and identify opportunities to grow the service business.
  • Partner with Resident Engineers and Project Teams to support project execution during warranty phases.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Provide structured feedback to Product Management regarding product performance and serviceability improvements.
  • Ensure training and competency development across the Field Services organization.
  • Support warranty, retrofit, and maintenance activities while ensuring on-time delivery and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer success through effective service delivery and issue resolution.

Who will you be working with?

Our Transit Field Services team is responsible for delivering high-quality field support, warranty execution, retrofit activities, and maintenance services for transit customers across the region. The team works closely with Product Management, Services Sales, Resident Engineers, Project Execution, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure reliable product performance and customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of Wabtec’s transit solutions. In this role, you will collaborate daily with internal stakeholders and customer representatives, leading a multi-site organization focused on operational excellence, safety, quality, and service delivery.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Transit Services division, you will be responsible for leading the regional Field Services organization and driving the successful execution of field service, warranty, and maintenance activities. You will deploy the regional Field Services strategy, establish operational standards and KPIs, and ensure efficient resource and budget management across multiple locations. You will support Services Sales by developing customer‑centric service solutions and strengthening customer relationships while driving operational excellence and workforce capability. You will partner with Product Management, Resident Engineers, and Project Teams to improve product performance, serviceability, and customer satisfaction while providing regular operational updates and performance reporting to leadership.
