Freshminds is seeking a Program Lead for a major global transformation programme in Germany on a 6–9 month initial contract. The role acts as the PMO backbone, coordinating HR, IT, Finance and broader functions, with a focus on governance, delivery cadence and cost reduction.

The candidate will drive interdependent workstreams, produce executive updates, and support senior stakeholders with board-ready materials.

Qualifikationen

• 7–10 years' experience in a top-tier consulting environment delivering operating model or transformation programmes.
• Proven track record leading enterprise PMOs or transformation offices from design to execution.
• Fluent German with understanding of labour relations and stakeholder environments.
• Strategic yet hands-on, capable of influencing and producing executive-ready materials.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools is a plus.

A client in the advanced manufacturing and technology sector is seeking a Program Lead to join a major global transformation programme for an initial 6-9 month contract.

You will act as the central integration point across a large-scale operating model and business support function transformation spanning HR, IT, Finance and further global functions. Reporting to the Head of Transformation, you will provide the backbone of the PMO, driving governance, dependency management, executive reporting and programme cadence as the organisation moves into a critical execution phase focused on operational excellence, efficiency and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain an integrated view across several workstreams, identifying interdependencies, risks and delivery bottlenecks across the programme
• Lead day-to-day PMO operations, establishing robust governance, tracking actions and ensuring consistent execution across global teams
• Develop standardised reporting, benefits tracking, KPI frameworks and executive dashboards to improve visibility and decision-making
• Support senior stakeholders through high-quality executive communications, including synthesising complex programme updates into concise, board-ready materials

Requirements

• 7-10 years' experience within a top-tier consulting environment, delivering operating model, organisational transformation or cost reduction programmes
• Strong experience leading enterprise PMOs, transformation offices or complex cross-functional programmes from design through execution
• Fluent German language skills with a strong understanding of German labour relations and stakeholder environments
• Strategic yet highly hands-on, with the ability to influence, track and build executive-ready presentation materials
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools would be beneficial

• Duration: Initial 6-9 month contract with strong likelihood of extension
• Day Rate: Up to €1,500 per day
• Location: Hybrid, Southern Germany (approximately 2 days per week on-site with travel from Munich and surrounding areas)
