Zusammenfassung

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to oversee systemization, FAT/HIL, startup and turnover activities for the Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid project in Bavaria, Germany. About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Builds and controls operator training, O&M, systems manuals, spare parts, warranties, as-builts, demonstrations, and final turnover.

What You Will Do
  • Develop and execute systemization, FAT/HIL, prefunctional, startup, SAT, functional, integrated, training, and turnover requirements.
  • Coordinate PV, BESS, generation, fuel, switchgear, protection, SCADA, communications, cybersecurity, OEM, quality, and safety interfaces.
  • Verify prerequisites and approved procedures before energization or testing; control configuration, issues, retest, and acceptance evidence.
  • Maintain traceable test records, settings, software/configuration baselines, manuals, spares, warranties, training, and as-builts.
  • Provide onsite support for the assigned test windows and rapid technical response during integrated commissioning.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant engineering/technical education or OEM qualification and demonstrated power-system, controls, testing, or turnover experience.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, sequences, settings, procedures, test data, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to obtain approved Germany work status and installation/system access for required onsite windows.
Preferred Qualifications

PE/CxA/CCP/NETA/OEM credentials; microgrid, grid-forming BESS, black‑start, SCADA, or relay experience.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access
  • Selection remains subject to contract qualifications, installation access, employer‑of‑record and data/system permissions.
  • Remote outside Germany or approved Germany‑local/accredited/short‑term work status for required site visits.
  • Employer/engagement source must match the approved ERP staffing plan, subcontract chain, independence rules and German employment/work‑status requirements.
  • No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work‑front release are complete.
Field, Travel and Employment Conditions
  • Work arrangement: HYBRID TO EXTENDED ONSITE during startup, testing and acceptance; minimum presence: Remote document work; onsite training, demonstrations, and turnover.
  • Project‑based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer‑of‑record completion and installation access.
  • Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working‑time controls require.
  • Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
