Training & Support Specialist

Company Overview

Gallopade is a leading publisher of elementary and middle school curriculum resources aligned to state learning standards. For more than 45 years, Gallopade has partnered with schools, teachers, libraries, museums, and bookstores to provide titles about Social Studies, Geography, Science, and more.

Position Overview

Gallopade International has an immediate need for a Curriculum Training and Support Specialist located in the state of Alabama to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for delivering high quality training workshops, presentations, and supporting all clients either new or returning! This individual will provide post‑sales support including but not limited to: onboarding, training, and continuous support for both print and digital curriculum products. This opening will be based in Alabama and will be responsible for supporting our valued clients in this state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct both in‑person and virtual training sessions for clients, and assist with the onboarding process.
• Provide ongoing curriculum content and platform support to teachers and administrators through email, phone, and online chat applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues via email, phone, and live chat.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to the technology and curriculum teams for consideration and resolution.
• Identify customer‑specific training needs for both new and existing clients to enhance user experience and maximize curriculum solution usage.
• Develop and modify PowerPoint presentations and other training materials.
• Identify at‑risk accounts that have not fully optimized their digital usage potential.
• Collaborate with Marketing and other Training and Support Specialists to create quarterly newsletter content, focusing on product features, usage tips, and maximizing purchase value.
• Develop expertise in Gallopade’s products to effectively guide new users through necessary training.
• Provide training and product expertise to sales representatives, as well as product development and marketing team members.
• Participate and contribute in departmental and interdepartmental meetings as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
• 5-7 Years of Experience in one or combination of classroom, instructional coaching and/or previous educational training experience within K‑8 education.
• Ability to travel, including overnight stays, to perform on‑site presentations and support when needed.
• Practical experience utilizing platforms such as Canvas, Schoology and/or Google Classroom.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Zoom and/or other virtual presentation software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to deliver training sessions to both small and large groups of teachers and administrators, as well as provide one‑on‑one support to users.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and manage training schedules effectively.
• Capable of handling multiple client interactions and responding to support and information requests.
• Experience in customer support, troubleshooting, and conflict resolution.
