Job summary

STADA Arzneimittel AG in Bad Vilbel, Germany, is seeking a Trade & Shopper Activation Manager (f/m/d) to shape activation of our OTC generics at the point of sale. You combine strategic trade and shopper marketing with strong execution and ensure visible brand presence on shelves.

The role requires developing POS strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and designing promotions for pharmacies, wholesalers and eCommerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, ideally with a focus on marketing.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in sales or trade & shopper marketing.
• Experience in interface management.
• Customer-oriented with ability to develop successful sales concepts.
• Independent, analytical, strategic work style with operational drive.
• GS1 category management training is advantageous.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with AI tools.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

What you can expect

• You independently develop POS strategies, activities, and training for brands in the OTC generics portfolio.
• You create annual trade marketing plans with clear objectives.
• You lead cross-functional teams in planning and implementing effective marketing measures.
• You design and optimize sales promotion measures for pharmacies, wholesalers, and eCommerce.
• You are responsible for sales materials for field sales and key account management.
• You develop campaigns and launch plans, analyze market and consumer trends, and measure campaign success.You analyze market shares, distribution, rotation, and revenue, and prepare reports and presentations.
• You manage the trade marketing budget, including efficiency measurement, and evaluate market data.
• You select external agencies, brief them, and lead them in projects.

Who we are looking for

• You have a completed bachelor's degree in economics, ideally with a focus on marketing.
• You have 2–3 years of professional experience in sales or trade & shopper marketing, preferably in consumer goods or pharmaceuticals.
• You have experience in interface management.
• You are customer-oriented and develop successful sales concepts.
• You work independently, analytically, and strategically with a strong operational drive.
• A category management training according to GS1 is an advantage.
• You have very good MS Office skills and experience with AI tools.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
