Job summary

GUME is seeking a trainee tool mechanic (m/f/d) at the Tuntenhausen site in Bavaria to learn mould and tool construction for rubber moulded and bonded parts.

You will gain hands-on experience in metalworking, reading technical drawings, and operating CNC milling machines, CAM programs, and die-sinking eroding equipment, with precise inspection of tools and components.

GUME is looking for a trainee tool mechanic (m/f/d) specialising in mould and tool construction for rubber moulded and composite parts at the Tuntenhausen site in Bavaria.

During your training, you will learn the manufacturing, maintenance, and optimisation of tools for custom-designed rubber moulded and bonded rubber parts. This includes metalworking, reading technical drawings, working on CNC milling machines, CAM programmes and die-sinking eroding machines, as well as the precise inspection and measurement of tools and components.

You can expect hands-on training within an experienced toolmaking team, with varied tasks, a direct link to production, and good prospects of being offered a permanent position based on your performance.
