Head of Operations
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Develop, implement, and execute operational strategies to increase productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
- Oversee full Order-to-Cash processes, including product management, sustainability, and facilities management.
People & Performance
- Lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams across Customer Service, Logistics, Order Management, Health & Safety, and related functions.
- Manage organizational structure, recruitment, workforce planning, and performance tracking via KPIs.
Customer Service Management
- Ensure smooth and reliable delivery planning and execution.
- Manage end‑to‑end order administration, procurement planning, and commercial order processing within internal PERI systems (PSD).
- Build and grow a strong, customer‑centric order management team.
Logistics / Warehouse Excellence
- Accountable for logistics costs, equipment maintenance, and yard efficiency.
- Ensure accurate order fulfilment, material returns, and inventory quality in compliance with PERI rental criteria.
- Lead warehouse audits and ensure inventory accuracy and space utilization.
Interdepartmental Collaboration
- Work closely with Managing Director, Heads of Departments, and functional leaders to standardize efficient practices.
- Support sales teams with competent and timely operational assistance.
- Partner with Formwork Instructors to provide ad hoc project solutions.
- Engage in stockyard and capacity planning.
Your Profile
- Master’s Degree in Business Management or related field — OR — Diploma in Business/Engineering with Project Management or SCM specialization.
- 12–15 years’ experience in logistics/warehouse operations, ideally within the construction or industrial services sector.
- Certification in Health & Safety is highly preferred.
- Proven leadership capabilities managing cross‑functional and multicultural teams.
- Strong commercial mindset with strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated success in cost control, productivity enhancement, and operational efficiency.
- High integrity, reliable, and aligned with PERI’s culture of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English required (Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage).
