Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical pre-tests and subsystem validation on train carriages including continuity and insulation resistance tests.
• Utilize multimeters to verify electrical connections and diagnose faults accurately.
• Interpret electrical schematics and technical specifications (in English or German).
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently within a strict 24-day testing window.
• Work effectively either independently or as part of a small team in a static testing environment.
• Ensure 100% completion of tests executed and accompanying documentation.

Qualifications

General Requirements

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical testing with a preference for experience in the railway or rolling stock sector.
• Strong ability to read and analyse electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with basic electrical tools, specifically multimeters.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in rolling stock manufacturing or maintenance.
• Understanding of train subsystems (e.g. HVAC, brakes, PIS - Passenger Information System, TCMS).
• Knowledge of railway standards and safety procedures.
