Quest Global Engineering Service GmbH is seeking an experienced test automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for desktop, web, and backend applications in a fast-paced environment. You will build automated suites, integrate with CI/CD, and collaborate across teams to improve software quality.

The role requires 6–8 years in test automation, experience with UI/API testing, and familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and basic DevOps concepts.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in software test automation.
• Experience supporting software verification in regulated medical device environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Experience with UI, API, and integration test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.
• Basic understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Work Experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in software test automation.
• Experience supporting software verification activities within regulated medical device environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Experience with UI, API, and integration test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical imaging or healthcare software domain.
• Experience automating desktop applications, web applications, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent automation technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
