PVA TePla AG is seeking a skilled technician to support manufacturing of functional thin films for acousto-optic applications. You will operate equipment, monitor processes, and document results with precision to ensure traceability.

Your Responsibilities

• In this role, you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to produce functional thin films for acousto-optic applications
• A key part of your responsibilities will be characterizing the deposited films using a range of measurement and testing methods
• When carrying out microstructuring processes on sensitive components, you will work with great care and document the results in a clear and traceable manner
• Your responsibilities will also include chemically cleaning sensitive components in accordance with defined specifications, partly under cleanroom conditions
• In addition, you will reliably record and maintain process data, equipment parameters, and test results
• By contributing your ideas and expertise, you will play an active role in optimizing existing manufacturing and testing processes
• Through manufacturing, measurement, and testing activities, you will support internal research and development projects

Your Profile

• You have completed vocational training as a microtechnologist or hold a comparable technical qualification
• Ideally, you have experience in coating, cleanroom operations, metrology, and technical manufacturing environments, along with basic knowledge of thin-film and coating technology
• Familiarity with measurement and testing methods used to characterize thin films is another advantage
• Working accurately, documenting results carefully, and following defined specifications are second nature to you
• For this position, you have German language skills at a minimum C1 level and English language skills at a minimum B2 level
