Your Responsibilities
- In this role, you will operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to produce functional thin films for acousto-optic applications
- A key part of your responsibilities will be characterizing the deposited films using a range of measurement and testing methods
- When carrying out microstructuring processes on sensitive components, you will work with great care and document the results in a clear and traceable manner
- Your responsibilities will also include chemically cleaning sensitive components in accordance with defined specifications, partly under cleanroom conditions
- In addition, you will reliably record and maintain process data, equipment parameters, and test results
- By contributing your ideas and expertise, you will play an active role in optimizing existing manufacturing and testing processes
- Through manufacturing, measurement, and testing activities, you will support internal research and development projects
Your Profile
- You have completed vocational training as a microtechnologist or hold a comparable technical qualification
- Ideally, you have experience in coating, cleanroom operations, metrology, and technical manufacturing environments, along with basic knowledge of thin-film and coating technology
- Familiarity with measurement and testing methods used to characterize thin films is another advantage
- Working accurately, documenting results carefully, and following defined specifications are second nature to you
- For this position, you have German language skills at a minimum C1 level and English language skills at a minimum B2 level
