Da Vinci Engineering GmbH in Böblingen sucht einen Techniker – Elektronik & Prototyping (m/w/d). Sie führen Hardware-Modifikationen, Verkabelungen und Prototyp-Anpassungen durch und unterstützen Hardware-Ingenieure bei Entwicklung, Tests und Prototyping.

Qualifications

• Praktische Erfahrung in Hardware-Modifikationen, Verkabelung und Prototyp-Anpassungen
• Grundkenntnisse zu elektronischen Bauteilen, Kabeln, Steckern und elektrischen Verbindungen
• Fähigkeit, Hardware-Ingenieure hands-on bei Entwicklung, Testing und Prototyping zu unterstützen
• Grundverständnis von elektronischen Schaltplänen ist von Vorteil
• Flexibilität und Anpassungsfähigkeit in einer schnelllebigen Hardware-Entwicklungsumgebung
• Erfahrung in Robotik oder eingebetteten Elektronik-Systemen ist von Vorteil
• Fließendes Englisch erforderlich, Deutschkenntnisse von Vorteil

Responsibilities

• Durchführung von Hardware-Modifikationen, Justierungen und Änderungen an Prototypen
• Montage, Modifikation und Optimierung von Verkabelungen, Kabelverbindungen und elektronischen Baugruppen
• Arbeiten mit elektronischen Bauteilen, Kabeln, Steckverbindern und anderen Verbindungselementen
• Hands-on-Unterstützung für Hardware-Ingenieure bei Entwicklung, Tests und Prototyping-Aufgaben
• Implementierung technischer Änderungen und kleiner Anpassungen an bestehenden Hardwaresystemen
• Unterstützung bei der Vorbereitung, Montage und Nachbearbeitung von Hardware-Prototypen
• Sorgfältige und systematische Durchführung praktischer Aufgaben im gesamten Hardware-Entwicklungsprozess

Your tasks:

• Perform hardware modifications, adjustments, and alterations to prototypes
• Assemble, modify, and optimize wiring, cable connections, and electronic assemblies
• Work with electronic components, cables, connectors, and other connection elements
• Provide hands‑on support to hardware engineers with development, testing, and prototyping tasks
• Implement technical modifications and minor adaptations to existing hardware systems
• Assist with the preparation, assembly, and rework of hardware prototypes
• Carry out practical tasks carefully and systematically throughout the hardware development process

Your profile:

• Practical experience in hardware modifications, wiring, and prototype adjustments
• Basic knowledge of electronic components, cables, connectors, and electrical connections
• Ability to reliably support hardware engineers with hands‑on development tasks
• Basic understanding of electronic schematics is an advantage
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing tasks in a fast‑paced hardware development environment
• Experience in robotics or embedded electronics is a plus
• Fluency in English is required, Knowledge of German is an advantage
