As a Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, utilizing your expertise to effectively complete assigned tasks. Your primary responsibilities will involve demonstrating empathy towards customers, adeptly handling situations with professionalism, and maintaining positive relationships with both clients and colleagues. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations is paramount, as is your ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute maintenance and repair tasks within specified timeframes, adhering to defined processes, and service agreements, and meeting customer requirements.
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, addressing technical installation and service issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct planned site and customer visits, resolving requests and calls as dispatched.
- Cultivate positive customer relationships, providing proactive feedback on equipment and system status.
- Document customer interactions and completed work for reference and continuous improvement.
- Under general supervision, diagnose and repair system malfunctions, utilizing specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications.
- Collaborate with technical support as needed and elevate issues appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
- Conduct regular meetings with customers to understand operational challenges and address their needs.
- Keep customers informed about the nature of provided services, and outstanding issues, and recommend system enhancements, upgrades, replacements, or additional labour and material work.
- Advise and train customers in system operations to enhance their understanding and usage.
- Document completed work clearly and concisely, submitting service reports promptly.
- Maintain and enhance technical proficiency in Daikin’s product lines through continuous learning and training.
Requirements
- 2-3 Year Course on Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration or any equivalent training courses with certification
- 4- 6 Years of Experience in HVAC Service
- Understand and analyse relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.
- Knowledge of air-cooled and water-cooled screw / centrifugal chillers.
- Knowledge of chiller / electrical controls
- Knowledge of airside products – Air handling units / Fan coil units etc.
- Ensures compliance with the DAME safety culture and adheres to all applicable safety standards, requirements, and equipment.
- Ensures compliance with environmental and industry regulations, where required.
- Skills in Computer and Controls will be an added advantage
