NAXCON GmbH in Gera, Germany, seeks a Technical Writer ETK to develop and maintain technical documentation for spare parts catalogs in the defense sector. You will review documents, create graphics, coordinate across teams and ensure compliance with workflows and quality standards.

Ideally, you have a technical degree or state-certified technician qualification, plus ASD S2000M/B007 knowledge, and strong German and English skills.

Aufgaben

• Independently creating technical documentation for the spare parts catalog per specifications.
• Reviewing documents and regulations for accuracy and usability; assign to assemblies.
• Create graphics designs and review their implementation.
• Update and maintain content with technical and procedural changes.
• Coordinate cross-functionally across departments; research as needed.
• Create work orders and manage them within the team.
• Participate in internal/ external project meetings.
• Prepare client deliveries and monitor workflows.

Tasks

• Independently performing all tasks related to the creation of technical documentation for the spare parts catalog, in accordance with existing specifications and processes
• Reviewing and evaluating the required documents and regulations for accuracy and usability, and assigning them to the appropriate assemblies
• Creating graphic designs and reviewing their implementation
• Incorporating and updating the results, as well as maintaining content in light of technical and procedural changes
• Cross-functional and cross-departmental coordination and research
• Creating work orders and managing and monitoring them within the team
• Participating in internal and, where applicable, external project meetings (e.g., kick-off meetings, status updates)
• Compiling deliveries for the client
• Monitoring compliance with workflows and processes
• Ensuring compliance with required quality standards and delivery deadlines
• Assisting with the maintenance of project management tools for work preparation and planning
• Collaborating with the project manager
• Proposing improvements to increase the efficiency of existing processes
• Assisting with the preparation of proposal documents (technical aspects)

Requirements

• A completed technical degree or certification as a state-certified technician
• Ideally, professional experience in the field of technical documentation (ASD specifications S2000M and B007)
• Solid technical knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive engineering
• Advanced proficiency in German and English
• Basic knowledge of technical documentation
