Job summary

Nordic Hamburg Shipmanagement in Hamburg, Germany, seeks a Ship Operations Engineer to supervise and coordinate service work and monitor efficient ship operation. You will plan dockings, perform vessel visits, and collaborate with classification societies and internal departments to manage costs and warranties.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years on board, enjoys working with ships and IT systems, is fluent in English, and is willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Ship's operations engineer with 2-3 years' experience on board.
• Willingness to travel.
• Enjoy dealing with ships, technical processes and IT systems.
• Enjoy dealing with people of different nationalities and cultures.
• Business fluent in English.
• Ability to communicate and work in a team.
• For Hamburg: Work permission for Germany / For Istanbul: Work permission for Turkey.
