Job summary

Marlow Group, based in Hamburg, is seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee fleet operability, conduct regular international ship visits, and manage the technical standards within budget.

The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree with CI/CM certification and shipboard Chief Engineer experience, plus professional exposure to the above areas, and strong written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in the field of engineering or a similar qualification.
• Patent as CI/CM with work experience on board as Chief Engineer
• Professional experience in the above-mentioned areas
• Business fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Taking care of our fleet and ensuring its operability.
• Carrying out regular, international ship visits.
• Responsibility for maintaining the technical standard of the ships within a given budget.
• Permanent control and monitoring of the budgets.
• Planning and organizing maintenance and repair activities.
• Close exchange with the senior officers of the ships as the first point of contact.
