Our client is a German shipping company that has seen great success through their extensive time in the market. Over the course of their life span they have built up a strong presence in Lubeck. Even though the market has been tough over the last 5 years, they have still maintained a strong profit and look likely to continue this trend.

The role is for a Technical Superintendent who will be responsible for all technical aspects of the MPP vessels / Container / Coastal Bulkers under their command. You will ensure all vessels are compliant with the most recent maritime legislation and oversee the dry‑docking process of the vessels you are responsible for. A key responsibility will also be travelling to inspect your vessels whilst they are on a voyage.

Qualifications

• Qualified with at least a COC2/COC1
• Experienced MPP, Container, Bulk, GC
• 1–2 years experience onshore working as a Technical Superintendent
• Excellent communicator
• Right to live and work in the EU
