Zusammenfassung

OHB SE in Bremen seeks a senior project leader to drive Earth Observation mission and system proposals for ESA, EC, DLR and commercial customers. You will head the project team through development and lead regular meetings to plan and review progress.

You will analyse requirements with customers, coordinate partners and subcontractors, and be responsible for cost, schedule and performance. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Successful completion of a degree in aerospace, engineering or a related field that demonstrates your expertise.
• Practical experience, preferably in the dynamic space industry, where you have demonstrated your practical knowledge.
• Knowledge of space projects, including systems and operations.
• Proven experience in preparing persuasive proposals that emphasizes your ability to make effective presentations.
• A deep understanding of complicated institutional structures that will enable you to navigate our challenging environment
• Passion and knowledge in the field of space is not only desirable, but is the foundation for our mutual success. An understanding of Earth Observation remote sensing principles (optical and microwave) would be an advantage
• Experience with applicable standards (ECSS) is desirable
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Strong result orientation, operational efficiency, high sense of responsibility and ability to make pragmatic and timely decisions
• High level of flexibility, willingness to work in international teams and ability to meet tight schedules
• Proficiency in the English language
