Jobtailor in Dortmund seeks an experienced AI-focused Product Owner/Technical PM to bring AI into client projects and collaborate with POs and managers to determine feasible and valuable AI solutions.

You'll prototype with LLMs, RAG, and automation tools, set up bespoke chatbots for clients, and expand AI expertise within the team while transferring knowledge to developers.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrates a long-standing, deep technical foundation in software development or system architecture.
• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, technical PM, consultant or senior developer with client contact.
• Solid understanding of modern web architectures: API-first, headless, REST/webhooks, integrations with CMS, CRM and ERP.
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript; capable of building prototypes.
• Practical AI experience: LLMs, prompting, RAG, automation tools.
• Agile methods from practice, not from the textbook.
• Translate technology into business value for clients and developers.
• Proactive: take initiative rather than waiting for tasks.
• Creative in generating use cases and identifying value-delivering opportunities.

• Python or TypeScript at a productive level; you build prototypes yourself
• Practical AI experience: LLMs, prompting and context engineering, RAG, automation tools
• Agile methods from practice, not from the textbook
• Translate technology into business value—for decision makers at the client as well as for developers
• Proactive: you don't wait for tasks, you take them
• Creative in generating use cases and see opportunities where others say "that won't work"
• Sense of reality: the best use case is not the most spectacular, but one that delivers value
