Position: Technical Editor (m/f/d)

Location: Kiel, Germany

Field: Defence

Type: Full‑time

Tasks:

• Independently create practical and compliant documentation in accordance with national and international standards (e.g. H011, ASD S1000D, military specifications)
• Manage and monitor self‑created work packages across departments
• Communicate with internal and external specialist departments, subcontractors, and customers
• Preparation of status reports regarding the services provided, budgets, and deadlines
• Create quantity structures and support higher‑level project management
• Review technical documentation directly on hardware

Requirements:

• Completed degree or technician qualification in mechanical engineering or a comparable field, and/or extensive experience in spare parts documentation
• Knowledge of military technology and logistics
• Basic knowledge of specifications B007 and S2000M
• Strong technical and logical thinking, along with an understanding of economic contexts
• Practical experience with spare parts documentation software (e.g., RSPM, MATCONF)
• Good written and spoken English and German
• Willingness to travel
