The role focuses on mechanical engineering or light metal construction and involves shaping forward-looking projects.

The candidate will create and maintain design data, review changes, and support internal departments while ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Qualifikationen

• 3-year vocational training as technical draftsman or technical product designer.
• Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or light metal construction.
• Proficient use of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor) and SAP; MS Office and PDF applications.
• Basic knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical engineering and statics.
• Knowledge in product safety, occupational safety, ergonomics, fire protection and environmental management.
• Proficient command of German and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication skills and an independent working style.

Aufgaben

• Create, maintain and update CAD drawings and SAP PLM master data.
• Review and implement design changes within change management.
• Evaluate customer inquiries and coordinate with customers and relevant departments.
• Process customer complaints and technical issues.
• Advise and support manufacturing and quality departments.
• Adhere to and apply relevant standards, laws, and regulations.
• Select and specify orders for external services, products, and components.

If you have in-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering or light metal construction and would like to help shape forward-looking projects

Responsibilities

• creating, maintaining, and updating design data and technical documentation (CAD drawings, SAP PLM master data, parts lists, assembly and operating instructions)
• reviewing, evaluating, and implementing design changes within the framework of change management
• technically evaluating customer inquiries and complaints, including coordination with customers and relevant departments
• processing customer complaints and technical issues
• advising and supporting internal departments (especially manufacturing and quality)
• adhering to and applying relevant standards, laws, and regulations
• selecting and supporting the specification of orders for external services, products, and components

Qualifications

• Completed 3-year vocational training as a technical draftsman or technical product designer
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in mechanical engineering or light metal construction
• Proficient use of CAD software (ideally Autodesk Inventor), SAP, MS Office and PDF applications
