The Role

As Technical Consultant you will already have gained valuable experience implementing C8 across multiple clients. This experience is not only the cornerstone for your success but is also the basis to support the rest of the Technical/Functional team to achieve success in their respective projects. Within each project the challenges differ, but the requirement to deliver quality is constant. You will maintain a high standard of delivery, support Project and Leadership teams, and act as the face of Centric to the client, ensuring professionalism in all interactions. Empathy is essential to help customers transition to or replace existing PLM systems with C8, driving acceptance across both functional and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a utilization target of 80% is kept.
• Lead customer sessions for migration and integration.
• Explain architectural concepts based on C8 deployment options.
• Understand and explain C8 best practices to achieve a successful deployment.
• Work with the functional stream to deliver the best solution based on customer requirements.
• Document implementation details for future use.
• Prioritize tasks against the plan.
• Manage conflicts and escalations.
• Understand the customer SOW.
• Provide estimation based on functional requirements.
• Create and follow up on technical tasks to deliver the required solution.
• Manage time and tracking.
• Manage budget for technical tasks (e.g., data migration and integration) and raise deviations when visible.
• Proactively track progress on assignments and provide timely feedback to project management.
• Train customers on C8 technical solutions throughout project phases.

Daily Tasks

• Install C8 components.
• Build migration code using Native Importer.
• Configure attributes based on functional requirements.
• Perform advanced configuration based on best practices.
• Set up data export.
• Run upgrades for customers.

Skills

• Execute Centric implementation methodologies.
• Gather and document requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into performant technical solutions.
• Communicate internally and externally.
• Create and recommend technical options.
• Explain complex technical solutions in an understandable manner.
• Provide feedback loops to the project team.
• Share knowledge at different levels of the Centric organization.
• Prepare and lead trainings for both internal resources and customers.
• Continuously develop skills based on new technologies added to the Centric enterprise.
• Tools: GitHub, TypeScript, Confluence & Jira, Teams, Excel, Notepad++, Visual Studio Code, Linux (basic).
• Qualifications: Certified IT education and programming experience, Java/JavaScript coding experience, XML experience, Database experience (MSSQL / Oracle).
