Zusammenfassung

Miltenyi Biotec is seeking a scientifically driven professional to join the interface of research and GMP-compliant ATMP production in Bergisch Gladbach. You will support process development for novel therapeutics and prepare internal and external CDMO projects for GMP manufacturing.

In this role you will work on experimental lab tasks, GMP documentation, and collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams. English and German communication are essential for project documentation and cross-border

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as a BTA, laboratory technician or a degree in natural sciences (e.g. biology, biotechnology or comparable).
• Strong interest in natural sciences, experimental work and solving complex challenges.
• Interest in innovative analytical methods and involvement in new development projects.
• Knowledge of GMP- or regulatory-compliant documentation is desirable.
• Careful, independent and proactive; good team player.
• Confident German and English communication.

Job Description

In this position, you will work at the interface of research and GMP-compliant ATMP production, contributing to innovative pharmaceutical development at Miltenyi Biotec. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will support process development for novel therapeutics and prepare internal and external CDMO projects for GMP manufacturing. Your focus will be on experimental laboratory work, GMP-relevant documentation, and close collaboration with various expert groups across Miltenyi. In this role, you will:

• Be part of a dedicated, interdisciplinary team that works together to develop innovative cancer therapies. Structured onboarding and comprehensive on-the-job training are provided.
• Actively participate in internal and external customer development projects.
• Implement modern analytical methods: You will work with flow cytometric, cell-based and PCR-based assays for phenotyping and functional testing of immune cells – including careful documentation and evaluation.
• Directly involved in the creation of GMP documents (e.g. manufacturing instructions, process descriptions, reports)
• Directly involved in method development: In close cooperation with R&D, you will develop, establish and optimize new methods and create project-relevant documents, such as SOPs or development reports in English
• Support technology transfer to manufacturing and associated departments

Qualifications

• You have completed training as a BTA, laboratory technician or a degree in natural sciences (e.g. biology, biotechnology or comparable).
• You have a strong interest in the natural sciences, enjoy working experimentally and enjoy working on complex challenges. Ideally, you have experience in flow cytometry analysis as well as other cell and molecular biology methods.
• You have a strong interest in innovative analytical methods and enjoy working on new development projects.
• Knowledge of GMP-compliant or regulatory-compliant documentation is desirable.
• You work carefully and independently, and you stand out as a proactive and communicative individual.
• You communicate confidently in German and English and are a real team player.
