Job summary

The LMU Klinikum, Campus Innenstadt, invites applications for a Technical Assistant (BTA/MTLA/CTA/PTA) in Immunopharmacology. The position is full-time and starts 1 November 2026. You will join the Immunopharmacology Research Group led by Prof.

Dr. Sebastian Kobold to perform experiments, process patient samples, and coordinate laboratory workflows focused on cancer immunotherapy. Training and supervision are provided.

Qualifications

• Completed training as BTA / MTLA / CTA / PTA or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to perform animal experiments with mice.
• Ideally experience with molecular biology or immunology techniques.
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and meticulously, with a team-oriented approach.
• Very good command of German and English; lab language is English.

The Institut für Klinische Pharmakologie on the Campus Innenstadt invites applications for the area Immunpharmakologie starting on 1 November 2026, in full time, for a Technical Assistant - BTA, MTA, MTLA, CTA (m/f/d).

Scope of duties

• An exciting, research-oriented work environment in the Immunopharmacology Research Group (led by Prof. Dr. Sebastian Kobold)

• Collaboration on the further development and optimization of established laboratory and research methods Methods used: Cell culture, molecular biology methods, microscopy, real-time PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry (FACS), animal experimentation with mice, in particular: genotyping, establishment and management of tumor models, isolation and processing of spleen and bone marrow cells

Our requirements

• Completed training as a BTA / MTLA / CTA / PTA or equivalent qualification

• Very good command of German and English; the language of the lab is exclusively English
