Zusammenfassung

Neumann Kaffee Gruppe (NKG) is seeking a Tech Lead to steer the design, delivery and evolution of shared Azure platform and integration capabilities. You will shape REST API practices, API lifecycles, and event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus.

You will also establish patterns for infrastructure as code, CI/CD, hosting, security, observability and operational readiness while coaching engineers and collaborating with IT Operations, Security and Data teams.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on experience designing, building and operating production systems on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience leading technical design decisions while staying close to implementation.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, OpenAPI and API lifecycle management.
• Experience with asynchronous messaging and brokers such as Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
• IaC using Bicep or Terraform, CI/CD, observability and cloud security.

We are looking for a

Tech Lead (f/m/d) Azure Platform & Integration.

Reliable platforms and system integrations are essential to how NKG delivers digital products across its global business. We are building shared Azure platform capabilities, REST APIs and event-driven integrations that product and application teams can reuse. To set the technical direction and turn these standards into working solutions, we are looking for an experienced Tech Lead.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, delivery and evolution of shared Azure platform and integration capabilities,
• Set practical standards for REST APIs, OpenAPI contracts, Azure API Management and message-driven integrations using Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus,
• Establish reusable patterns for Azure infrastructure as code, CI/CD, application hosting, security, observability and operational readiness,
• Contribute hands‑on to complex implementation work, design reviews, troubleshooting and incident learning,
• Ensure integrations address contracts, versioning, authentication, retries, dead‑letter handling, ordering and idempotency,
• Coach engineers, enable decisions at the lowest appropriate level and reduce knowledge silos,
• Work with the Technical Product Manager, IT Operations and Security, Data & Reporting and other teams to resolve dependencies and make technical risks visible

Your profile

• Strong hands‑on experience designing, building and operating production systems on Microsoft Azure,
• Experience leading technical design and architecture decisions while remaining close to implementation,
• Strong experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI and API lifecycle management,
• Experience with asynchronous messaging and message brokers such as Apache Kafka or Azure Service Bus,
• Experience with Azure infrastructure as code using Bicep or Terraform, CI/CD, observability and cloud security,
• Strong software engineering skills in at least one modern programming language,
• Clear communication, pragmatic judgement and experience coaching engineers without relying on formal authority,
• Fluency in both English and German is required , Spanish language skills are an advantage
