The development process starts with a new rollup update every three months. We have written down which modules we want to improve next on the roadmap.

  • Your team discusses the new features in detail with the product management team sitting right next to you. The process is well established.
  • You structure the development and assign work packages to your team. Fortunately, we don't have the stress of project delivery. Quality is our top priority.
  • You oversee the selection of the right architecture within the platform.
  • You're in regular online contact with the Microsoft colleagues at their headquarters. You also fly to Redmond once or twice a year.
  • We often break new technological ground, trying things that no one else has done. Of course, sometimes things go wrong. But that's the only way to drive excellence - and that's what you're passionate about.
  • Your team provides 3rd level support. Product bugs are reported directly to the team and fixed in the next update.
  • Let's talk about people. This is very important to us! You make sure that your team finds joy and meaning in their work and that they can grow with your support.
  • Every four to eight weeks you sit down with each team member and discuss how they are doing.
  • We hire new developers on a regular basis. You will guide them through a structured onboarding process.
  • As we grow, you rethink our processes and evolve our system in small steps.

To be successful in this role, you should have several years of experience in managing staff. We need your expertise here. You care about your team and want them to grow. You have experience managing people in software development, quality assurance, software lifecycle management, or SaaS. Maybe you also have experience with project management. You should be fluent in German and English.
