DATA MODUL, a technology company in Munich, seeks a Team Leader (m/f/d) to head the strategic procurement team. You will lead the development of global procurement strategies for displays, touch solutions, electronics and mechanical components, while negotiating with international suppliers and driving cost, quality and delivery targets.

The role requires a technical or business degree, several years in strategic procurement, and proven leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent qualification.
• Several years’ experience in strategic procurement, ideally in displays, LCM, touch tech, electronics and mechanics.
• Proven leadership experience and passion for developing teams.
• Hands-on approach with initiative and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel in an international environment.
• Technical understanding of drawings, components and manufacturing processes.

Aufgaben

• Lead the global strategic procurement team and drive development.
• Develop and implement sustainable supplier and procurement strategies for displays and electronics.
• Negotiate price, contract and framework agreements with international suppliers.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Identify and realise optimisation opportunities across the supply chain.
• Manage escalations with national and international suppliers on quality, price and bottlenecks.
• Continuously analyse, optimise and digitise procurement processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

We are looking for you to join our strategic procurement team in Munich as a full-time Team Leader (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities

• Technical and managerial leadership, as well as the further development of the global strategic procurement team
• Development and implementation of sustainable supplier and procurement strategies for displays, touch solutions, electronics and mechanical components
• Conducting price, contract and framework agreement negotiations with international suppliers
• Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships to ensure cost, quality and delivery targets are met
• Identifying and realising potential for optimisation throughout the supply chain
• Managing escalation processes for the team in dealings with national and international suppliers, particularly regarding quality issues, price adjustments, supply bottlenecks and strategically relevant business and negotiation matters
• Continuously analysing, optimising and digitising procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Your profile

• A degree in a technical or business discipline, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years’ professional experience in strategic procurement, technical procurement or category management, ideally within the fields of displays, LCM, touch technology, electronics and mechanics
• Leadership experience and a passion for developing teams
• A strong hands-on approach, the ability to take the initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English
• Willingness to travel in an international environment
• Technical understanding of drawings, components and manufacturing processes
