PUMA Group is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead Western Europe operations. The role involves steering financial tasks, supervising a team, and supporting growth while ensuring accurate reporting and IFRS compliance.

The candidate will manage monthly closings, year-end close processes, and collaborate with auditors, leveraging SAP expertise and strong MS Office skills. Fluent German and English are required.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years of professional finance/accounting experience.
• Leadership experience is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Steer operational tasks for the Western Europe region.
• Supervise direct reports in Western Europe region.
• Support personal growth of direct reports.
• Regularly analyze accounts and prepare financials.
• Assist project management and IFRS 16 topics.
• Manage rent contracts and related records.
• Identify improvements to our setup and processes.
• Prepare monthly closings and contribute to year-end closing.
• Serve as contact person for auditors in Western Europe.

• Steering operational tasks within Western Europe region
• Supervising direct reports in Western Europe region

• Maintenance of IFRS 16 related topics
• Rent contract management
• Identify room for improvements in our setup
• Preparation of monthly closings
• Preparation and collaboration of year-end closing according to IFRS, HGB and tax law
• Contact person for Western Europe region for auditors

YOUR TALENT

• Completed training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), alternatively a bachelor's degree in finance
• At least 3 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• Leadership experience is an advantage
• Experience with SAP R/3, SAP S4/Hana is an advantage
• Very good MS Office knowledge
• Excellent knowledge of German and English
• Independent work and structured way of working
• High commitment and flexibility, service-oriented, reliable, team player
• Analytical skills, high affinity with numbers
• Cross-departmental thinking and communication is required.
