FORTÉ Germany GmbH in Hessen sucht eine Team Leader Media Technology Installation, die die technische Leitung des Installations-Teams übernimmt und Projekte beim Kunden vor Ort fachgerecht umsetzt.

Sie arbeiten nah an der Technik, führen das Team und entwickeln sich schrittweise zum technischen Manager weiter. Reisebereitschaft in Deutschland, Führerschein Klasse B, gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse runden das Profil ab.

Qualifications

• Mehrjährige Erfahrung in Medientechnik (Audio, Video, Konferenztechnik, Netzwerke).
• Idealerweise erste Erfahrung in der Koordination technischer Teams oder Bauvorhaben.
• Starke Qualitätsorientierung und Freude daran, hohe Standards mit dem Team zu realisieren.
• Technisches Verständnis moderner AV-Systeme und die Fähigkeit, Wissen verständlich weiterzugeben.
• Sehr gute handwerkliche Fähigkeiten und Verständnis für professionelle Installationsarbeiten.
• Strukturiertes, eigenverantwortliches und lösungsorientiertes Arbeiten; Teamplayer.
• Führerschein Klasse B und Reisebereitschaft durch ganz Deutschland inkl. Übernachtungen Mo–Fr.
• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse und gute Englischkenntnisse.

Responsibilities

• Verantwortung auf der Baustelle übernehmen: Installation moderner Medientechnik und fachgerechte Umsetzung – von Microsoft Teams Rooms bis LED-Wänden.
• Qualitätsstandards setzen und sicherstellen, dass Installationen hohen Qualitäts- und Sicherheitsstandards entsprechen.
• Team professionell führen; technischer Ansprechpartner für Techniker, Einarbeitung und Weiterentwicklung der Kollegen.
• Projekte vor Ort koordinieren; interne und externe Techniker arbeiten effizient zusammen.
• In herausfordernden Projektsituationen Entscheidungen treffen und das Team sicher ans Ziel führen.
• Team weiterentwickeln: Installationsstandards verbessern, neue Kollegen einarbeiten und die fachliche Entwicklung fördern.

From experienced media technician to technical manager

You may be a senior technician today or the colleague everyone relies on when things get tricky on the construction site. Would you like to take the next step and take on more responsibility – without losing touch with technology?

As Team Leader Media Technology Installation, you will take over the technical management of our installation team and ensure that our projects are implemented with the highest quality. You spend a large part of your time on construction sites and at the customer's site. At the same time, you will develop step by step into a manager in the operational area.

Your tasks as Team Leader Media Technology Installation

• Take responsibility on the construction site: You will install modern media technology solutions and, together with your team, ensure professional implementation – from Microsoft Teams Rooms to LED walls.
• Set quality standards: You will ensure that our installations are implemented to the same high quality standards everywhere and ensure compliance with our quality and safety specifications.
• Lead your team professionally: You will be the technical contact person for our media technicians, provide orientation, impart your knowledge and support your colleagues in their technical development.
• Coordinate projects on site: You coordinate the AV installation on site and ensure that internal and external technicians work together optimally.
• Make decisions when it matters: In challenging project situations, you keep track of things, make decisions and lead the team safely to its goal.
• Shape the future of our team: You will further develop installation standards, accompany new colleagues during onboarding and support the professional development of our technical team.

Your profile – what sets you apart

• Several years of experience in media technology (audio, video, conference technology, network integration)
• Ideally, initial experience in coordinating technical teams or construction sites – or the motivation to take this next step
• Strong quality awareness and enjoyment of establishing high standards together with the team
• Technical understanding of modern AV systems and the ability to pass on knowledge in an understandable way
• Very good manual skills and a strong understanding of professional installation work
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working as well as team player mentality
• Class B driving licence and willingness to work on projects throughout Germany with overnight stays from Monday to Friday
• Very good knowledge of German and good English
