Remotely in Berlin, Germany is seeking a Team Leader Grid Connections to lead grid connection strategy, electrical design and technical delivery of a large-scale renewable energy pipeline across Germany. Hybrid working.

You will head a team of 10 grid and electrical experts, act as the technical authority, and collaborate with TSOs/DSOs, EPCs and consultants to ensure compliant, safe and efficient grid integration.

Team Leader Grid Connections

Location: Berlin, Germany | Hybrid Working

A rapidly growing renewable energy platform is looking to appoint a Team Leader Grid Connections to lead the grid connection strategy, electrical design and technical delivery of a large-scale renewable energy pipeline across Germany.

The Role:

You will lead all grid connection and electrical engineering activities across the German portfolio, acting as the key technical authority for the team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead a team of 10 grid and electrical experts.
• Leading electrical engineering activities across utility-scale projects from development through to execution
• Defining and implementing technical standards, specifications, and engineering processes
• Managing electrical system design including HV infrastructure, substations, transformers, protection systems, and grid connection interfaces
• Overseeing external engineering partners, EPCs, OEMs, and technical consultants
• Supporting grid connection strategy and coordination with TSOs and DSOs
• Acting as the internal technical expert for all electrical engineering matters
• Supporting project optimisation, risk mitigation, and technical due diligence
• Building and leading the electrical engineering function as the company scales
