Your Role

The Team Lead Sales DACH SMEs is a leadership position within the Sales organization at envelio. The role focuses on leading and developing the sales team dedicated to small and medium-sized Distribution System Operators (DSOs) across the DACH region. As a key driver of sales growth, this position ensures efficient customer acquisition, supports long-term account development, and contributes to scaling envelio’s impact in the energy sector.

The Team Lead is responsible for guiding the team toward achieving ambitious sales targets, continuously optimizing sales processes, and aligning with broader organizational strategies. With a combination of strategic planning, operational oversight, and people leadership, this role bridges the gap between individual sales execution and company-wide growth objectives.

How You Make an Impact
Leadership & Team Development
  • You lead, coach, and develop the sales team for the SME DSO segment in the DACH region, ensuring strong performance, skill growth, and motivation
  • You conduct regular 1 : 1s and feedback sessions to provide situational guidance and foster professional development
  • You promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Sales Strategy & Execution
  • You drive achievement of sales targets for new customer acquisition and contract value within the SME DSO segment
  • You actively support operative sales activities when needed - such as customer meetings, tender participation, or reviewing offers and sales documents
  • You collaborate with marketing to design and execute lead-generation campaigns tailored to the SME segment
  • You develop a deep understanding of envelio's IGP, the market, as well as our users, customers, and their needs and challenges in their daily workflows
  • You translate market feedback and DSO requirements into actionable input for the Product team
Process Optimization & Planning
  • You streamline and standardize sales processes to efficiently serve a high volume of small and medium customers, ensuring scalability and consistency across acquisition, renewals, and upselling
  • You monitor and optimize sales funnels, ensuring balanced allocation of responsibilities and smooth execution
  • You report on sales KPIs and monitor pipeline health in HubSpot
  • You coordinate sales budgets and pricing strategies with the VP Sales & Marketing and the Head of Sales DACH
Your Profile

  • You have data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to analyse sales metrics and optimise sales processes while keeping the big picture in mind
  • You have strong communication and relationship-building competences to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • You have a structured way of working, with clear prioritisation and systematic organisation of tasks and projects
  • You have a strong sense of ownership, proactively addressing challenges and driving initiatives forward beyond formal responsibility
  • You have technical understanding to develop in-depth knowledge of our value proposition and USPs
  • You have proven experience in operative sales processes including presentations, offer preparation, and contract negotiations
  • You are fluent in German and English
