The Team Lead Production role sits on the floor, bridging strategic planning with real-time execution to drive a team of operators to hit daily volume targets safely while upholding strict quality standards.

You’ll own shift execution, optimize staffing, lead hiring and development, and ensure rigorous handovers, incident response, and data integrity.

Aufgaben

• Oversee end-to-end production operations during the shift, train new hires, managing farm operator positioning, material preparation, washing, drying as well as post-processing queues, shipment and attached processes.
• Maximize daily production system performance by ensuring optimal staffing and overseeing shop floor organization.
• Manage, mentor, and build the shift schedules for the shopfloor team, ensuring rapid-response coverage and lead all people-related topics from hiring to development.
• Lead structured shift handovers based on KPIs and drive corrective actions for anomalies.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for non-standards and coordinate with Maintenance, IT, Engineering, or Product Development when needed.
• Enforce strict adherence to product verification standards to ensure zero defective footwear pieces in finished goods inventory.
• Drive world-class manufacturing standards and safe working practices.

Your Mission

The Team Lead Production owns the floor execution during assigned operational windows. This role bridges strategic planning and real-time execution, driving a team of operators to hit daily volume targets safely, while protecting Zellerfeld’s strict product quality guidelines and ensuring a safe work environment. As expert for all farm processes and tasks the Team Lead is the go-to-person for the team and regularly actively supports the daily operations in the farm.

What You'll Do

• Shopfloor Execution & Management: Oversee end-to-end production operations during the shift, train new hires, managing farm operator positioning, material preparation, washing, drying as well as post-processing queues, shipment and attached processes.
• System Performance Optimization: Maximize daily production system performance by ensuring optimal staffing and overseeing shop floor organization.
• Team Leadership & Resource Scheduling: Manage, mentor, and build the shift schedules for the shopfloor team, ensuring rapid-response coverage according to applied shift-operation. Lead all people-related topics for your team from hiring to functional development and exit.
• Shift Handovers & Data Integrity: Lead structured, rigorous shift handover meetings based on KPIs driving performance. Ensure all operational anomalies are managed in a timely manner and corrective actions are taken.
• First-Line Incident Response: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for non-standards. Determine when to troubleshoot immediately and when to escape to Maintenance, IT Infrastructure or Engineering or Product Development.
• Quality Control Enforcement: Enforce strict adherence to product verification standards, ensuring zero defective footwear pieces pass into finished goods inventory.

Your profile

• Technical Hard Skills: Proficient with modern order management systems. Familiarity with manufacturing metrics (e.g. SLA, Uptime).
• Soft Skills & Mindset: Natural authority with an empathetic, clear communication style. High levels of focus, situational awareness, and the ability to rapidly re-prioritize workflows when unexpected bottlenecks occur.
• Experience: preferred is first team lead experience in a fast-paced, shift-based environment or at least strong operations background, known as the go-to-person in your team that is never shy of taking on extra responsibilities
• Language: Strong English communication skills, as you'll be leading an international team.
