Your Mission

As a Maintenance Technician at Zellerfeld, you’ll play a key role in keeping our innovative 3D printing production environment running smoothly. You’ll ensure that machines and support systems are maintained, optimized, and ready to perform. Your work will directly support our mission to redefine how shoes are made—locally, sustainably, and on demand.

What You'll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on 3D printers, post-processing machines, and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and basic software malfunctions
• Support installation, setup, and testing of new equipment and process improvements
• Maintain accurate documentation of performed work and maintenance schedules
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for technical improvements
• Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are followed
• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to support seamless operations
  
  

Your profile

• Vocational training (Berufsausbildung) in Industrial Mechanic (Industriemechaniker), Precision Mechanic (Feinwerkmechaniker) or Mechatronics Engineer (Mechatroniker) required.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems and basic industrial controls
• Experience with maintenance documentation and basic diagnostic tools
• Proactive and detail-oriented
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Reliable team player with a hands-on mentality
• Language: English and German proficiency required
• Based in Hamburg or surroundings and willing to travel to the US from time to time
• Willingness to work flexible hours / shift.
