Qualifikationen

• Several years in Freight Forwarding Operations (Import and/or Export).
• Experience in a Team Lead, Supervisor, or Senior Operations role.
• Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding processes, customs procedures, and transportation regulations.
• Experience managing customer relationships and operational escalations.
• Experience with Freight Forwarding systems such as CargoWise or similar TMS; knowledge of process improvement.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Import/Export Operators and Customer Service Specialists.
• Oversee end-to-end management of international shipments across air, ocean, and/or road freight.
• Ensure high service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve operational challenges and customer escalations.
• Manage workload distribution and resource planning within the team.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, carriers, agents and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and service delivery.
• Support the implementation of new processes, systems, and best practices.
• Analyze operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
• Contribute to achievement of departmental and company objectives.

The Team Lead Operations Import/Export is responsible for leading a team of freight forwarding professionals and ensuring the smooth execution of international import and export shipments. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Management experience of a Team and leadership mindset
• Experience working with freight forwarding systems such as CargoWise or similar TMS platforms.
• Knowledge of process improvement and operational best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are beneficial.
