Exyte in Stuttgart is seeking a Team Lead Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) for our Data Center Business Unit. You will plan, design and oversee electrical systems and build a new team of engineers, recruiting, setting goals and delivering projects on time.

The role requires leadership, extensive HV/LV knowledge, and fluent English and German. You will travel to project sites across Central Europe and mentor a high-performing team in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Proven leadership of electrical design teams in major projects.
• Strong planning and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.

• Plan, design and implement electrotechnical systems for data center projects.
• Prepare execution documents (drawings, descriptions, BOQ) for procurement and execution phases.
• Build and lead a team of Electrical Engineers; set goals and mentor staff.

We are seeking a highly motivated Team Lead Electrical Engineering (m/w/d) for our Data Center Business Unit. You will be responsible for planning and engineering of electrical systems, as well as building and leading a new team of Electrical Engineers. Your role will also involve recruiting team members, setting goals, and ensuring successful project delivery. Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Planning, project planning, calculation and installation execution planning of electrotechnical systems
• Preparation of detailed execution documents (e.g. drawings, functional descriptions, bill of quantities) for the procurement of installation and planning services and clarify any questions that arise during the execution phase
• Building, Leading and developing a team of Electrical Engineers
• Adherence to budget, quality and deadline requirements within the assigned projects
• Supporting project management in the preparation and, if necessary, updating of schedules
• Coordination of subcontractors and assurance of the highest execution quality, as well as compliance with safety, health, and environmental protection requirement
• Coordination and control of the interfaces of the individual trades

Show your expertise

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar
• Extensive years' experience in leading the design of major electrical project or / and leading electrical position of a fast-track project, preferably in the high technology or industrial sector
• Technical knowledge and understanding of Engineering, Design and Construction for High Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical systems from Preliminary Design to Commissioning and Handover
• Technical knowledge and understanding of project execution processes in a fast-track environment
• Extensive local construction knowledge
• Ability to mentor and motivate a team as well as experience in leadership positions within a technically challenging environment
• Excellent English and German skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Central Europe (Austria, Germany, Italy)
