QuantumDiamonds GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, is seeking a Talent Partner to lead proactive recruitment of deep-tech talent across physics, engineering, hardware, and semiconductors. You will own multiple concurrent searches, build pipelines, and partner with hiring managers to understand needs.

Fluent English is required; German is a plus. You will shape screening, assessment, and closing, while contributing to People & Culture initiatives and ultimately helping scale the recruiting

What will you do

Headhunting & Talent Discovery

• Find exceptional candidates who are not necessarily looking for us yet through proactive sourcing, headhunting, referrals, networks, communities, and creative search strategies.
• Build talent maps for niche technical markets and identify where the strongest relevant talent can be found.
• Go beyond keyword searches and understand the underlying skills and adjacent backgrounds that could make someone successful at QuantumDiamonds.
• Build genuine relationships with high-potential candidates and develop pipelines for roles we know will matter as we grow.

End-to-End Recruiting

• Own multiple recruitment processes in parallel, from intake and search strategy through sourcing, interviews, assessment, offer, and closing.
• Recruit across QuantumDiamonds with a strong focus on engineering, hardware, physics, semiconductor, and other highly specialized technical profiles.
• Run structured screening interviews and confidently assess motivation, experience, potential, and overall fit.
• Keep 10+ searches moving with strong prioritisation, clear communication, and disciplined follow-through.
• Create a candidate experience that feels personal, transparent, and professional from first outreach to signed offer.

Hiring Manager Partnership

• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand what they genuinely need rather than simply recruiting against a job description.
• Translate highly technical requirements into realistic candidate profiles, search strategies, and target markets.
• Bring market insights back to hiring managers and challenge requirements constructively when the candidate pool tells us something different.
• Guide hiring teams on interviews, candidate assessment, decision-making, and closing.

Recruiting Excellence

• Track the health of your recruiting funnel and use data to understand where searches are working and where they are not.
• Continuously experiment with sourcing channels, messaging, assessment methods, and recruiting tools.
• Help us build scalable recruiting practices without losing the speed and personal approach of a scale-up.
• Strengthen QuantumDiamonds' reputation within relevant technical communities and contribute ideas to employer branding and talent strategy.

Broader People & Culture Contribution

• Contribute to broader People projects when hiring volume allows, for example, in onboarding, employer branding, employee experience, or People processes.
• Work closely with the wider People & Culture team and develop a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle beyond recruitment.
• Bring your candidate and market perspective into broader discussions around talent, culture, and organisational growth.
• Broaden your People exposure over time while keeping recruiting as your core area of expertise.

What is expected of you

• 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, recruiting, executive search, or headhunting.
• Proven ability to proactively source and hire hard-to-find technical talent, not just manage inbound applications.
• Strong sourcing and headhunting skills: you can map markets, identify target profiles, and approach candidates effectively.
• Experience running end-to-end recruitment processes across multiple roles in parallel.
• Confident partnering with hiring managers and challenging briefs when needed.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, persistent, and curious mindset with strong ownership and prioritisation skills.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and iterating sourcing strategies when needed.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Experience in deep tech, hardware, engineering, semiconductors, physics, or similar fields is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Ashby (ATS) is a strong plus.

About us

QuantumDiamonds GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, develops and manufactures semiconductor inspection systems based on quantum sensing. Spun out of the Technical University of Munich in 2022, the company uses nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond to map electrical current with micrometer precision inside advanced 2.5D and 3D chip architectures. Nine of the world’s ten largest semiconductor manufacturers are engaged with QuantumDiamonds, with systems deployed across Europe, the United States, and Asia. The company is investing €152 million to build the world’s first production facility for quantum sensing-based semiconductor inspection tools, supported under the European Chips Act.
