Qualifikationen

• Completed degree or commercial training in accounting/finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting.

• Sense of responsibility and a structured way of working.
• Fluent German and good English skills.

Aufgaben

• Independently manage day-to-day bookkeeping in Odoo, including account coding, invoice entry and reconciliation.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll in coordination with HR, and review employee travel and expense reimbursements.
• Support Head of Finance in preparing and maintaining the budget and tracking actuals vs. plan.
• Maintain cost allocation for grant projects and prepare grant documentation.
• Prepare monthly statistics and reports for management.
• Support cross-functional finance projects and process improvements.

In this role, you will independently manage day-to-day bookkeeping in our ERP system (Odoo), process monthly payroll, and handle employee expense reimbursements. You will work closely with our Head of Finance on budgeting and actuals tracking, maintain cost allocation for our grant-funded projects, and prepare reporting for management, with a strong focus on accuracy, structure, and reliable financial processes as we continue to scale.

What will you do

• Independently manage day-to-day bookkeeping in our ERP system (Odoo), including account coding, invoice entry, and account reconciliation
• Prepare and process monthly payroll in coordination with HR, and review and process employee travel and expense reimbursements
• Support the Head of Finance in preparing and maintaining the budget, and in tracking actuals against plan
• Maintain cost allocation for ongoing grant projects and prepare documentation for grant applications and usage reports (including EU-funded projects)
• Prepare monthly statistics and reports for management
• Support cross-functional finance projects, such as improving internal processes and systems

What is expected of you

• Completed degree or commercial training in accounting/finance
• 3 -5 years of experience in financial accounting
• Solid working knowledge of the ERP system Odoo required
• Knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS)
• Sense of responsibility and a structured way of working
• Fluent German and good English skills

QuantumDiamonds GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany, develops and manufactures semiconductor inspection systems based on quantum sensing. Spun out of the Technical University of Munich in 2022, the company uses nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond to map electrical current with micrometer precision inside advanced 2.5D and 3D chip architectures.
