Job summary

OHB SE in Bremen is seeking a career-oriented Systems Engineer to analyze external and internal system needs, define data exchanged per NATO standards, and derive solutions for data dissemination across ground and space assets.

You will negotiate with industry partners, shape architecture options, perform trade studies, and document interfaces. A MBSE mindset and fluency in English are essential; willingness to obtain German security clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Completed studies (Diploma or Master) in aerospace engineering, electronics, software development or equivalent qualification.
• Ideally several years of professional experience in defence and security systems engineering projects.
• Ideally several years of experience in the data exchange of active or passive missile defence systems.
• Strong competence in self-organizing and work planning.
• High motivation, pro-active working approach, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Strong competence in working in a multicultural team.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Experience with applicable standards and processes (NATO).
• Ability and willingness to achieve a German security clearance.
• Ideally, experience with model-based system engineering (MBSE).
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
