Systems Engineer / Development Project Manager (DPM) (f / m / d)

At the Ulm site, we are looking for a Systems Engineer / DPM (f / m / d) for the "GBAD Solutions Engineering" department as soon as possible. The department develops radar products, European studies (EDF) and sensor system solutions. The product portfolio includes the naval and ground products TRS-4D, TRML-4D, COBRA and EUA-NT. Our products are part of the Europan Sky Shield for the air defence of Europe. In addition, we support the programme in managing projects, preparing offers and holding customer meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for development work packages in terms of time, cost and quality, reporting
  • Coordination of multidisciplinary development teams
  • Responsibility and implementation of the development process
  • Close cooperation with the product department and the technical disciplines
  • Harmonization of technical system requirements, system architecture, interface documents, system analyses and system safety with the product department
  • Supporting the coordination of all system development activities related to System Safety
  • Supporting the acquisition process through effort estimations and the preparation of proposals
Qualifications
  • Completed studies in the field of systems engineering, electrical engineering, IT, aerospace or comparable
  • Several years (10 years) of professional experience in this field, ideally also experience in the field of system safety
  • Experience in the development of radar systems
  • Experience in the technical leadership of teams
  • Experience with safety standards, e.g. MIL-STD-882, BAAINBw manual for proof of system safety
  • Experience in functional hazard analysis (FHA)
  • Basic knowledge of EU product conformity
  • Knowledge of DOORS, MATLAB, MBSE, CONFLUENCE, JIRA, agile framework
  • Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and resilience as well as a confident manner
  • Business fluent German and very good English skills
  • 2 security clearance preferred
