Zusammenfassung

Evotec is seeking an Infrastructure professional to design and optimize Citrix DaaS and Digital Workplace platforms within a global enterprise. You will integrate with AD/Identity, Networking, and Security, ensuring high performance and availability.

The role focuses on operations, lifecycle management, and automation to streamline deployments, with collaboration across Infrastructure, Network, Security, Workplace, and Service Management teams. Fluent German and English are required.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in computer science or a comparable IT education.
• Several years of professional experience in Infrastructure Administrator or Terminal Services Administration roles.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS IaaS, Windows Server, Citrix Virtual Apps/XenDesktop.
• Knowledge of storage management and backup solutions (Azure Backup, DPM).
• Automation helps solving routine tasks and complex scenarios efficiently.
• Very good knowledge of German and English.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and enhance scalable Citrix DaaS and Digital Workplace platforms in a global enterprise.
• Integrate Citrix solutions into hybrid IT environments with AD/Identity Management, Networking, and Security.
• Ensure stable operation, lifecycle management, patching, upgrades, and platform maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents, performance bottlenecks, and availability issues.
• Develop and maintain automation to streamline deployments and service provisioning.
• Drive continuous improvement for scalability, user experience, security, and efficiency.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with global Infrastructure, Network, Security, Workplace, and Service Management teams.
• Monitor performance, capacity, availability, and security; identify risks and implement preventative measures.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and IT teams; lead projects, migrations, upgrades within End User Computing.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex incidents, performance bottlenecks, and availability issues across enterprise virtual desktop and application delivery platforms.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automation solutions to streamline operational processes, deployments, and service provisioning using modern scripting and automation technologies.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive the ongoing optimization and standardization of the platform with a focus on scalability, user experience, security, and operational efficiency.
• Documentation: Create and maintain architecture documentation, operational procedures, technical standards, and support documentation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with global Infrastructure, Network, Security, Workplace, and Service Management teams to ensure seamless platform integration and operation.
• Monitoring: Monitor platform performance, capacity, availability, and security, proactively identifying risks and implementing preventative measures.
• Consulting: Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to business stakeholders, IT teams, and end users regarding Citrix and Digital Workplace solutions.
• Project Delivery: Support and lead infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and technology implementations within the End User Computing environment.
