SEG Automotive Germany GmbH in Stuttgart is seeking a System Test Engineer (m/f/d) for Electric Drives on a two-year fixed-term contract. You will join an intercultural team of more than 6,000 employees across 14 countries, shaping the future of automotive powertrains while contributing to test automation and rigorous validation.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable field.
• Proven expertise in testing mechatronic systems.
• Experience with LV123 / LV124 and high-voltage standards; system integration testing desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electric drives and powertrain systems.
• Experience with test bench control systems (dSPACE, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; independent, structured work style.

The position is initially offered under a two-year fixed-term contract

• Commissioning mechatronic components and systems
• Deriving test requirements, creating test specifications, and documenting them in the requirements engineering tool
• Performing and validating tests in line with customer, internal, and legal requirements in the areas of system integration, low-voltage, and safety testing
• Developing and applying automation routines for efficient test execution
• Preparing, interpreting, and presenting test results to customers and internal stakeholders

• Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable field of study
• Sound expertise in testing mechatronic systems
• Knowledge of testing in accordance with LV123 / LV124 and additional high-voltage standards; experience in system integration testing is desirable
