Technology & Strategy is seeking an Automotive System Test Engineer in the Hanover region to design, execute and automate system-level tests for ADAS, Telematics, and Braking functions.

You will work with HIL/SIL setups, use CANoe and CANalyzer for trace analysis, and automate tests with Python and CAPL, contributing to robust safety-critical automotive projects.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in automotive system testing, ideally in ADAS/Teemanics/braking.
• Hands-on experience with CANoe and CANalyzer and bus analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and CAPL for test automation.
• Experience with HIL systems (e.g., dSPACE, Vector VT, ETAS).
• Strong understanding of CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
• Ability to translate requirements into test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Valid driving licence (mandatory) for vehicle-based testing.

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive System Test Engineer with strong experience in ADAS, Telematics, or Braking systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating system-level test cases to ensure the reliability, safety, and performance of next‑generation automotive features.

Your tasks

Your profile

• Strong experience in automotive system testing, ideally in ADAS, Telematics, or Braking domains.
• Hands‑on expertise with CANoe, CANalyzer, and communication bus analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and CAPL for test automation.
• Experience with HIL systems (e.g., dSPACE, Vector VT, ETAS).
• Solid understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).
• Ability to interpret system requirements and translate them into structured test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross‑functional teams
• Valid driving licence (mandatory) for occasional vehicle‑based testing.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with ADAS sensors (radar, camera, lidar).
• Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, or other automotive safety standards.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Experience with version control (Git), Jira, or similar tools.
