SENSORY-MINDS GMBH in Offenbach am Main is seeking a System Administrator to support our hybrid IT setup across the Frankfurt area, four days on-site. You’ll manage device provisioning, IAM, and the Apple/Linux environments.

You’ll drive automation, deploy Docker-based workflows, secure networks, and collaborate with service providers and the CISO on ISMS-related tasks to keep our infrastructure reliable.

Qualifikationen

• Completed IT training or degree in computer science / business informatics.
• Experience administering complex IT environments and Apple systems/networks.
• Willing to work four days a week on-site to foster teamwork.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with proactive, sustainable solutions.
• Structured, security-minded approach; ISMS knowledge is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Provision and optimize pre-production and staging environments for Docker workflows.
• Manage internal network and server infrastructure including firewall, WiFi, VLAN, backups and DR.
• Collaborate with service providers; assist CISO with ISMS management.
• Four days on-site in our office to support IT infrastructure and daily operations.

What will your job be?

• Coordinate on-site operations in the Frankfurt/Offenbach area
• Support and advise the team (approx. 100 people) in all IT-related matters together with your colleagues
• Manage the daily business (Device management, Provisioning, On-/Offboarding, Identity and Access Management (IAM), SaaS Stack Management, Monitoring & Documentation, Procurement)
• Work on automation and optimization of new and existing IT processes
• Architect and deploy MDM solutions in Apple client environment
• Administer macOS (employee client) and Linux environments (internal tools) with a focus on Docker
• Support our engineering teams by provisioning and optimizing pre-production and staging environments, ensuring seamless Docker-based workflows and consistent local development setups
• Manage internal network and server infrastructure including Firewall, high density WiFi, switching, routing, VLAN, Backup & Disaster Recovery
• Collaboration and management of service providers (hosting, telecommunications, tooling)
• Assisting the CISO with the IT-related management of the ISMS
• As a System Administrator, you'll work closely with the team from our office four days per week to support our IT infrastructure and collaborate on day-to-day operations.

What you bring:

• You have completed vocational training in the IT field, a degree in computer science / business informatics or another comparable qualification.
• You have already gained experience in the administration of complexIT environments as well as in the administration and management of Apple systems and networks.
• You value personal connection and thrive on spending four days a week on-site, fostering teamwork and a great office atmosphere.
• Communicating in German and English is no problem for you.
• As a generalist, you are the escalation point for complex technical problems and findsustainable solutions instead of just handing out "band-aids"
• You work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and keep a cool head even during a "system down".
• A proactive mindset and the ability to independently familiarize yourself with new technical subjects are key to your way of working.
• You have a strong mindset for IT security and naturally integrate security best practices into your day-to-day operations.
• While not required, a basic understanding of ISMS (ISO 27001) is a plus.
