Zusammenfassung

ENERCON is seeking a Sustainability Specialist (m/w/d) to help shape the company’s sustainability strategy and initiatives. You will drive development of sustainability solutions, coordinate global teams, and monitor regulatory trends to guide strategic decisions.

Remote work up to 60% of your time and 30 days of annual leave are provided, along with flexible hours and training opportunities through the ENERCON Academy. Willingness to travel to the headquarters in Northern Germany is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate degree in sustainability or business administration, preferably in circularity, energy, climate change or environment and relevant professional experience in the field of energy, circularity, communication, auditing or consulting.
• 3+ years of experience in a position in sustainability.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps, derive priorities and translate topics into actionable initiatives.
• Excellent understanding of sustainability standards, reporting frameworks and regulatory developments (e.g., CSRD, Circular Economy Act).
• Strong project management skills to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Clear communication and interpersonal abilities to engage stakeholders and present topics clearly.
• International work experience and intercultural awareness preferred.
• Fluency in English and German.

Aufgaben

• Actively contribute to the implementation, further development and anchoring of ENERCON’s sustainability strategy and roadmaps.
• Drive development of customer-oriented sustainability solutions and value propositions with relevant functions.
• Coordinate cross-functional and international working groups to support implementation, integration and tracking of sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze sustainability regulations, market trends, competitor activities and stakeholder expectations to derive actionable recommendations.
• Manage collection, consolidation and quality assurance of sustainability KPIs for internal steering and reporting.
• Lead selected sustainability communications, including the annual sustainability highlight report and internal/external planning.

Sustainability Specialist (m/w/d)

For this position, we offer an annual salary ranging from€64,000 to €68,000 gross (full-time), depending on your experience and qualifications.

Your responsibilities:

• Actively contribute to the implementation, further development and anchoring of ENERCON’s company-wide sustainability strategy and related roadmaps, including the identification of gaps, priorities and next steps
• Drive the development of customer-oriented sustainability solutions and value propositions in close collaboration with relevant functions
• Coordinate cross-functional and international working groups to support the implementation, integration and tracking of sustainability initiatives, including circularity initiatives
• Monitor and analyze sustainability-related regulations, market trends, competitor activities and stakeholder expectations to derive actionable recommendations for ENERCON’s sustainability strategy, roadmaps and reporting
• Manage the collection, consolidation and quality assurance of selected sustainability steering KPIs for internal steering, decision making and performance tracking
• Lead selected sustainability communications, including the annual sustainability highlight report, and contribute to communication planning for internal and external target groups in close coordination with Corporate Communications and relevant stakeholders

Your qualifications:

• Graduate degree in sustainability or business administration, preferably in the field of circularity, energy, climate change or environment and relevant professional experience in the field of energy, circularity, communication, auditing or consulting
• 3+ years of experience in a position in sustainability
• Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to identify gaps, derive priorities and translate sustainability topics into actionable initiatives
• Excellent understanding of sustainability standards, reporting frameworks and regulatory developments, such as CSRD, Circular Economy Act, etc.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines and lead cross-functional initiatives in a collaborative environment
• Clear communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage stakeholders at different levels and present complex sustainability topics in an accessible way
• Preferably international work experience and intercultural awareness
• Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
• Willingness to travel to the headquarters in Northern Germany
