Airbus Helicopters – Standort Donauwörth seeks a Supply Chain Quality Manager (m/w/d) to support current and future projects on a fixed-term basis for 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Manage a defined international supplier portfolio in the equipment sector (civil and military).
- Oversee supplier selection, qualification, approval and monitoring.
- Ensure delivery of equipment, parts and materials in line with our KPIs.
- Continuously improve supplier performance using KPIs (OTD, OTQ, TAT) via systematic improvement processes and tools.
- Apply industrial risk‑management processes for suppliers concerning capacity and capability.
- Optimize supply chain costs through logistics solutions, inventory, cost of non‑quality, and reduce defects by improving forecast reliability and transparency to suppliers.
- Analyze quality complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support the implementation of action and recovery plans aimed at sustainability.
Qualifications
- Completed university degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field.
- First experience in supply chain management and quality management.
- Project experience is desirable.
- Proficiency with IT tools such as SAP and Google applications.
- Strong communication, flexibility, trustworthiness, discretion and a solution‑oriented proactive working style.
- Fluency in German and English.
